Beautiful Highland Country Club is located just ten minutes from downtown via 279N off the Bellevue/West View exit. Even the members sometimes forget that the greens and fairways are located on land that once belonged to William Penn, for whom Pennsylvania was named. Penn granted the land to Casper Reel, who was the first settler in what is now known as Ross Township. The newly remodeled dining room is named after Reel.
Thanks to the efforts of the new ownership group, Highland Country Club’s restaurant “The Reel House” is now open to the public. The club’s chef Dino Cillo is now creating wonderful culinary creations that everyone can enjoy. For something different, come experience an excellent dining experience at one of Pittsburgh’s most popular country clubs.
